Outdoors.Net Review on A Matter of Timing and the novel's
Press Release
Comment by REPOMAN on a firearm enthusiast forum The High Road'I ordered my copy of A.M.O.T. and I'm in Chapter 15 and absolutely dread putting it down... This is coming from a guy that has only read 2 books my entire life only because the high school teacher made me read them. This is a must-have to any gunnut who enjoys reading or in my case, who doesn't think they like reading. My wife laughed at me when she saw the debit receipt and my 4 year old son said I didn't know you could read a book unless you were reading it to me ...GETCHA ONE ASAP...'

The women rock
I usually avoid action adventure novels because they're too full of testesterone and macho men. But a friend let me read her copy and I loved the fact that someone actually wrote the women to be strong and smart instead of weak and dumb. It was refreshing and had enough mystery and intrigue in it to keep me turning pages.

Sniper duel was very well done
From a technical standpoint, the rifles, military tactics and movement that both the snipers use during their fight was 100% correct. I hate reading a book that the author didn't research the subject enough and makes technical errors. Drives me crazy, sorry, such as one book I recently read that the author's hero used a 'bolt-action semi-automatic assault rifle'. I tossed the book in the trash when I read that paragraph. But I liked this one, in spite of a couple typos that escaped edit. It's a keeper and I've already loaned it to 2 friends who liked it too.

Good conspiracy
I liked the government conspiracy part the most, especially since it was concerned with Iran. I hope the book isn't prophetic though, since there have been a couple earthquakes in the midwest this past week and I live near the new madrid fault line.
